Founded in 1995 from a background in restoration and interior decoration Martin Murray Antiques has one dominant aesthetic, if something is old, it should appear so. Surface is paramount, the scars of a useful life are to be treasured not stripped away and refinished. So the over restored and later embellished are disregarded in favour of pieces with the integrity of genuine patina of age and use, revealing openly their passage through the ages.

Focusing on early furnishings and art works with authentic voice from across the social spectrum and cultures to source pieces with great decorative appeal as well as academic interest. Supplying collectors, interior designers or those seeking something unusual and beautiful for their home.

Martin has exhibited at many major vetted antique fairs including Olympia and the Battersea Decorative Fair.

Based in mid Suffolk, close to the historic market town of Eye.
