A rare itinerant cobblers work bench in ash and elm, with shaped seating area, the whole simply cut from a single piece of timber, originally galleried around the work surface this is long lost to time, it stands on the original primitive legs. These unusual little pieces of social history make excellent coffee tables or are useful in a boot room. Lovely wild grain and good honey patina.

British 18th - 19th century
