






































Pair of Louis XV armchairs in period tapestry
A fine pair of walnut armchairs with cartouche shaped backs and sinuous outswept crook arms, the serpentine seat rails centred by acanthus carving, cabriole legs to front and rear terminating on scrolled feet. The seats and backs are upholstered in period floral needlepoint tapestry.
In country house condition with a soft natural patina, some fading to the needlework and some thread worn areas as expected from this early period but stable and ready for use.
