A magnificent quality chest of drawers in walnut and fruitwood, beautifully proportioned with most unusual mouldings to the drawers and top forming a galleried appearance. deep base moulding, large scrolled mouldings beneath the top the centre on of which is a secret drawer which is opened by pushing a wooden latch reached by opening the top drawer. The decorative top is inlaid with a lozenge. The chest is in good order with side hung drawers that run freely, it retains the original gilt brass handles and has a wonderful warm patina.
