Early C18th landscape mirror
A good gilt framed mirror with gesso moulded scroll and leaf decoration, retaining the original triple plate. In country house condition, the frame has some small losses and the plate has darkened nicely to give a sense of drama to any room setting. The original gilding has a wonderful softness, a lovely original piece.
