A most rare pair of early centre or console tables in oak of fine scale and presence,, gun barrel turned legs with stretchers with plank tops cleated at the ends. Good original condition with fine patina, there is an old repair to one stretcher and one cleat. Each table has stamped Roman numerals to the frieze. This is the only true pair of such tables I have ever seen.
