An extremely attractive oak table box with shallow carved foliate and tulip decoration with a central rose, the single thin top board has a repaired split and, unusually has carved initials M and a D with a reverse K within the D along with a stylised arrow. there is chip carving to the side of the top with punch work and scratch decoration. The condition is very good with the original lock plate and hasp, one pin hinge is original and one later replaced. It has a authentic surface and retains the interior till
