A rare cricket table of unusual form the well turned base made from walnut and the triangular top make from three pieces of burr walnut, The piece has a lightness and elegance that proliferates in the early years of the eighteenth century with long sinuous turnings and has acquired a sumptuous deep patina. It is of good height and proportion despite the loss to the toe, the is a small amount of ancient worm holes to the top, this is long dead and filled with years of wax and dirt.

Cricket tables from this period are scarce, triangular tops rarer still, burr triangular tops are exceedingly rare.
