A sculptural country house plate rack of large scale with a historic stone paint over the original buff paint, these large racks stood on the floor in the centre of the kitchen but could also be wall mounted, this one has mirror plates fitted to facilitate hanging. To find such a rack of this scale in early paint is extremely rare. This one has been in my own collection for some years. A wonderful piece that will add texture to any kitchen.
Condition is good with just a couple of missing struts that allow the storage of deeper serving bowls.
